One impending regulatory action that is expected to soon reaching consequences is the European Union Directive 2002/95/EC1. At this time many manufacturers have not yet finalised their compliance plans.Kingstar is committed to providing timely and relevant information to our
customers regarding RoHS & WEEE. This Directive on the Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment(RoHS),takes effect on 1 July 2006 and requires that such equipment must not contain the following chemicals:

●Chromium VI(Cr6+)
●Mercury(Hg)
●Polybrominated Biphenyls(PBB)
●Cadmium( Cd)
●Polybrominated diphenyl ethers(PBDE)
RoHS at Kingstar is now being in a part of Qualification Process. As a social-pesponsible and visionary manufacturer,we are starting to undertake Lead -Free surface finish and compatible materials.Since the middle of 2004,we has successfully implemanted lead Free Approvalin our production line,in order to manufacture RoHS conforming printed circuit boards.
